Terms of service
Effective October 18, 2026
These terms apply when you use Tandem Agent. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
The service
Tandem Agent helps real estate agents by drafting replies to leads, helping with property searches and reading deal documents. It is an early version that we are actively improving, and features may change.
You stay in charge
- Tandem Agent prepares drafts and summaries. You decide what to send, and you are responsible for every message you send and every decision you make.
- The service uses artificial intelligence, which can make mistakes. Check drafts, extracted terms, deadlines and listing details against the original documents before relying on them.
- Tandem Agent does not give legal, financial, tax or real estate advice. Questions about price, offers, negotiation, contracts and representation are left to you.
Your responsibilities
- Follow the rules that apply to you, including RECO requirements, the Trust in Real Estate Services Act, your brokerage's policies and Canada's anti-spam law (CASL).
- Check that your brokerage allows you to use a service like this.
- Use only MLS and listing information you are licensed to access, through your own login. Don't share your MLS access with us or anyone else.
- Keep your Google account secure, and don't let anyone else use your Tandem Agent account.
- Don't use the service to send spam, mislead anyone or break the law.
Your information
Your information belongs to you. How we handle it is described in our privacy policy.
Fees
Any fees are agreed with you separately before you are charged.
Ending the service
You can stop using Tandem Agent and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or stop offering the service, with reasonable notice where possible.
No guarantees
We work hard to keep Tandem Agent accurate and available, but the service is provided "as is". We don't guarantee results, deals, replies or uninterrupted service.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, Tandem Agent is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost deals or lost profits, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
Changes
If we change these terms, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
